Wanted: Rear disc brake adaptor post to IS

Please help me find a rear disc brake adaptor to go from post mount to IS and will let me run a 140mm rotor

I doubt you will find one to run a 140 rotor as by adding the adapter on.you increase the size of the brake mount and thus have to run a bigger rotor to compensate. If your frame its made to fit a 140mm rotor with the post mount you'll have you go for a 160 rotor with the adapter I would have thought.

Super star are probably the cheapest at the moment, they have a 160mm treat post to is mount which backs up the above

Have you got a postmount caliper to fit IS frame mounts or the other way around?

I think I've got one for the first combo, the second combo needs a special adaptor, the only company who may do one to use 140 discs is KCNC.

I read it as being a PM frame onto IS caliper :?

If its an IS frame and PM caplier it's much more straight forward

Thanks for all the advice guys. It's post mount to IS. Why can't all mounts just be a uniform fitting eh? If it's going to be an issue I'll just go with a 160mm rotor. It seems like this is more straightforward
