I'm looking for a set of the Preston Petty Hex Grips with the smooth surface from the late '70s-early '80s in black.

I've been scouring eBay for over two years for some black Petty's Pat. I have blue and red still in the wrappers, but no black. They are very hard to find now.
Would I be right in thinking that you are returning something very special back to original? Have you managed to find some GSM bars in that case?

Still looking for the grips and bars-I do have a friend with a motorcycle shop in San Rafael looking for the bars for me-got any? And yes, it is for a Special restoration.

Next time you see your friend in San Rafael could you ask him if he has any of those big orange Magura cable adjusters? They are really hard to find over here.
