Si I might be considering stripping the fat down, not definate but my thinking is take all the retro stuff off and put on any old guff so that I will ride her, let me think about it and let me know if any of the stuff would be of interest.

That would be a real shame Gazz.
If you do take that route I would take the wheels and saddle for my Wicked.

Will have a few sleeps on it, pretty much everything is in great condition so I can't bring myself to ride it, and the wife won't let me bring it into the front room cow that she is

Si no idea if this fits in with you but I have a set of yellow brake cables (Specialized) that I bought from here ages ago. NOS but packaging damaged so some toolbox dirt on them. They weren't what I was looking for at all as they were the older thicker type, so no good for any of my bikes. Let me know if interested. They will be cheap as I have no use for them.

Not sure if this is high end enough but I've got a Mountain LX groupset Cranks, mechs, brakes, and brake lever/thumby combos. I've also got a Exage Trail groupset again Cranks, mechs, brakes, and brake lever/thumby combos I think they're both late 80's

I've got a spare M700 rear mech but it's tatty and need some work and I've got an '86 Cannondale M600 frameset, frame, forks, stem and the really cools suntour brakes that go with it, which I've stripped ready for paint or polish. There are a few other bits but I'd have to find them first!

Staf.
