or even to borrow me that would be great

I use circlip pliers. Not perfect but does the job and saves you buying tools that might only get used once

I don't want to sound like a dope but could you explain how please?
as i don't want the new bore's being damaged

I use the type that open when you squeeze them. Just stick the ends into the bore cap, squeeze and turn, same as you would if fitting self extracting crank bolts. Hopefully the caps won't be so tight that the pliers slip and scratch the bore cap but I've had no problems doing it this way. You could also wrap a bit of tape around the ends of the pliers to prevent any damage to the caps
