These don't fit with the brakes and I'm gutted so need a nice replacement before I buy a cheap raleigh pair from Evans.

I ask I buy. Please.

Steerer length is important and must be threaded.

Don't you need 1" for this?
The manitou forks were described as 1" when I enquired about them from the guy that was selling the frame and forks :wink:

Oops! Looks like the seller got it wrong.
Is it safe to clamp a stem over a threaded steerer?
If so I might be interested in the forks if you decide to sell.

Anybody ever cut a thread onto threadless 1 1/8? found a perfect pair for length etc but would need to put a thread on with a die.
