WTD as above..I thought id got some sorted, but it fell flat :(

6mm thread to fit a Bontrager frame....Please,please,

I thought Bontragers used a 6mm bolt all the way through the stud and in to the frame?

If so i make these, they cost £10 for 4 posted, 2 for the frame 2 spares.

If you need ones with a thread, these are £12 for 4 posted.

As B3 said, 6mm bolt runs all the way through, the stud is only a sleeve. B3s ones are a perfect aftermarket alternative, got them on mine!

The story goes like this....
I took the brake posts off my brand new White Bros SC72 forks which have a 6mm thread(very small!) And lent them to someone to copy
He wanted them for his Bontrager frame & said the White Bros posts fitted perfect....
I havent seen the person since :(
And i now want to put the posts back on as ive promised the forks to someone...I said they were for a BONTY as i presumed were the same..guess not!
I guess i was too trusting :(
Anyway i just got a mail from WHITE BROS & they have the posts in stock but will cost me around 20.00 quid..
Thanks for all your info folks & ill let you know if im succesfull...
