If you are serious it might be worth your while getting in touch with Geoff or Graham directly. They may well know if there is anything on the horizon.
Geoff did mention a couple of months ago that the original 700c Aventura prototype was looking for a new home. :shock:
Now that would be a cool bike to own.

Yep, the first ever 29er (sort of) in the world is looking for someone to renovate it. However, this would be a labour of love, since it is wanted as a display piece, so you wouldn't get to keep it.
I've decided I no longer want to keep my original Aventura; space is at a premium here, and so is time, come to that; v v busy working on the new prototype from which replicas could be produced.

It is in rideable condition, although quite grubby, and would benefit from an overhaul. Brake shoes need re-lining and I think I have a spare set somewhere. Transmission and BB may need renewing. It would come with a brand-new spare pair of ice-studded Hakkapeliittas and a set of original Cleland stickers.
This was the very first Aventura ordered, produced and sold (although the frame number is 003), and I'm still chums with the purchaser.
I haven't a clue what it's worth to a prospective buyer. I was thinking of putting it on eBay, but haven't got round to sorting that out. Obviously I want to raise as much money as I can to fund the current prototype, which is gobbling money at an alarming rate.
