Wanted - BIG bike/frame

Hi guys,
Looking to find a BIG road bike for a friend of mine. He's 6ft 7" :shock: so something in the region of 62 - 64cm. He has an inside leg of 39inches! Needs to be 130mm rear spacing as he wants 9speed, steel ideally, and of decent quality. Not looking for mint but don't really want to go down the respray route if I don't have to.
I'd consider a full bike also..

I'm 6'2" and I ride 62cm with a fair bit of seatpost showing. Not sure on my inside leg, perhaps 35", so if your mate is 39" inside leg he's going to needs lots bigger than a 64 I reckon.

Yeh i have to agree. 6'7" with 39" inside leg means a 25" frame (or bigger if you can find it).

Large road bike..



hey

i'v just came into ownership of a very large road bike!

a 25" raleigh 531c with gipiemme dropouts on the forks and frame.

it's a biggie, so big i can hardly stand over it

i measured the rear end and im making it 128mm so i would think a 130mm hub will fit in no sweat..

Big Bike/frame

I have two biggies in the barn:

1. Gazelle Ventoux, 64 cm Nice frame for touring bike, eyelets, comes with BB and headset, 75 euro postage to UK included
2. Gazelle Champion Mondial, AB-frame 65 cm Nice classic Gazelle, frame has signs of use and age, (re)paintjob could have been done better 85 euro, postage to Uk included
