Each to their own, but I much prefer good old Shimano cup and cone, particularly the decent stuff like LX and above. These hubs have given 1000s of miles of service without issue, with just a quick re-grease and adjust every once in a while, unlike e.g. Miche Primato Road where all the bearings were shot within a year or two and the freehub started creaking, then losing drive, because it had run dry. Must admit have not had Hope or the other blingy stuff you mention but I have never felt the need when Shimano hubs just work (as long as you set them up right when new).Skeeter1":28lw93a2 said:Hi Niggle,
