i've been building up a 1998 specialized stuntjumper project but have come to a grinding holt it not having rear disc mounts, therefore the easiest option to move forward is a more modern frame.
If the money's right, I MIGHT be persuaded to sell my 2004 Stumpjumper FSR frame, with BETD 100/130mmrocker upgrade and Monarch RT3 shock and the RC40 fork that goes with it.
I'd be after "substantially" more than £200 for this. The upgrades and bearing replacement kit fitted alone cost more than that, at trade prices. Would consider a F&F package price of around £450, with forks given full service recently and £25 extra for the Hope headset fitted - can fit a different headset FOC. This would give you the option of running 100mm OR 130mm, without having to do more than dial in the fork and swap the bolt around in the rocker. Price would also include spare gear dropout, original Specialized rocker, seatpost QR/neoprene chainstay protector and rear "mudguard".
Not even that sure if it's for sale - but if the money's right - it's about time I was seen in my local area riding a Pace RC405 instead of this.
i'm after a bare frame as i have my older stuntjumper to break which has forks , headset etc etc . i'm going away tomorrow will see what cash i have when i return next week.
