Wanted 1” Suspension fork Threadless long steerer

I can swap the steerer out for a converter shim and a 1" steerer if required for an extra £35. Pretty long 1" steerer in alloy ahead.

Dont really want a converter shim thanks anyway, why ate one inch so hard to find?????

You most probably will need a converter shim if wanting to run 1" on Pace forks (which is normal on Pace crowns)

I have no idea what a converter shim does, does it reduce it? Can you not just do that with any 1/1/8 fork?

For example this actual PACE shim allows a large 1 1/4 fork crown (similar to my link for example) to fit a 1" steerer. It's a normal legit way of running the same fork with different steerers:

Anyway - its struck me that your bike doesnt need a 1" steerer. It will be a 1 1/8th. This is the same as my advert.

My X1 is an inch - which for a full Susser is very spindly

I dont understand, how can a shim allow a bigger steerer tube to fit in a smaller 1 inch hole of the frame???? Also what does spindly mean lol.
