I keep all my 'normal' bikes in the shed but insist (much to my Wife's bemusement) that my Chas Roberts is kept in the house safe, warm and dry and on show 8)

I have a high landing with sufficient room for my bike to be tucked away high up out of the way, I need to bike to be horizontal but it still over head height, does anyone use any brackets or ones with the winch cable that I could use. The brackets would need to be fixed to the wall rather than the ceiling. I can reach from the top stair without risking dropping the bike and myself.

I have seen wall brackets that hook the inside pedal and holds the bike in place. Neat to look at, but not sure where you can get them.

Re:

I was thinking of making a wooden wall-mount frame by fixing a baton for the wheels to fit it and making 2 cheese wedge shapes with cut outs for the frame to fit into , the problem I have is getting the bike up that high. I could lift it onto wooden batton but cant hook the frame in :?

Unless I bought a new light carbon bike
