Wakefield frames

Hi anyone heard of or know anything about a frame builder called Wakefield? A LBS has a path frame.....with lugs similar to thse found on a Hetchins but not so excessive.....has an oiling nipple on the BB...No tubing decal but seatpst is 27.2...so probably 531db and dates from the 1960s but could be earlier...no drinking cage bosses.....going for £230....any info wuld be appreciated.

Wakefields - tooting junction !

although I am not old enough to remember Wakefields, a friend of mine has one he bought from new as a teenager - he's now 70 !

they were at Tooting Junction in SW London Ibelieve.
