It looks like there's alot of excess weld around the headtube area. Has it had a repair?

if thats weld then what a mess the welders made :shock:

I was thinking that, though perhaps up close it has some sort of pattern/style/shape? Lovely looking build, and I'm not in to DH bikes as a rule.

As above:

It's not welding or a repair. I used araldite blobs to stop cable rub. There's some on other areas of the frame where the cable touches it. I also put some under the BB shell to protect it.
I mixed up too much when I attached the headtube badge and thought I'd put it to use elsewher
