You're right, the original post should have made clear, this is a Taiwan-built VooDoo. I think there's a photo of the 'made in Taiwan' sticker in the flickr photos though.

I know the 'brand' now has the 'taint' of 'Halfrauds'... But Didn't they move to Halfords significantly after '99? Is it my imagination or weren't VooDoo's ridiculously expensive back then, whereas nowadays one of the cheapest ways to get a complete XT groupset is to buy a VooDoo from Halfords?

Think Voodoo went Halfords way about 2005 ish, personally there is nothing wrong with a Taiwanese frame, the welds are probably better and the frame is in track....
My mate has a Colnago (road) frame about 2 yrs old..chrome flaking off and the seatpost never fitted properly, but hey it's Italian....
More to the point, I rather fancy your cinder cone..........
