nice frame, though i thought it would be lighter than he is quoting.
ive had maybe 15 or 20 things shipped from the states, only been hit by the import duty once though. assuming the guy will mark it as a gift (naughty naughty) i think its about 1 in 10 they check. having said that ive never got anything as big as a frame before, but if its your dream frame its worth a punt surely? worst case its an extra 20 odd %.

It's a bit of a puzzle. On the one hand the main details all look pretty much correct, the weight is spot on what I would expect for Tange Superlight in size 18.5, the down tube fm routing is what they did in those years, etc. But what would make me pause and ask questions are the strange dropouts and the unexplained absence of decals. Could it be a one-off experiment of some kind? The Bizango frames were made in the US, so I guess there could be variations, but I'm too ignorant to know why anybody would want 9mm dropouts on an mtb frame.

Mr Zero has one, I wonder what his advice would be? They're quite rare, you might never see another!

Hmmm don't think i'll go for it........hopefully find one in the uk :?

£230 posted + say £50 if you get stung by customs.....you could be waiting years for one to turn up in this country in that condition...dont be afraid of buying stuff from abroad,i would say 50% of my ebay purchases come from other countrys with no issuses at all,the odd one has tax added but still bargains.

I think Bizango's at the time just had peelable stickers on them, deff no cast head badge just sticker or transfer. As for the drop outs i think he's just being pernickerty...........i've seen a lot of frames that need the paint removing and a tiny file to get axels to fit proper. The classis signs are there ring re-enfofrce h. tube that doesn't go all way round and the 2 little cable hoops on the seat tube. The only thing i saw that is very sim is one of those ' Nashbar ' frames that are like voodoo's

That BIN price seems sort of high (IMO).

I got outbid on an 18" Tange Superlight Bizango frame a few months ago that was very clean (original owner had taped up the chainstays from day one), had all the stock decals, and ended up going for only $175.

Of course, the winning bid may have been much higher, but $200 plus or minus about $25 seems to be the going rate (for now).

price is high.

Complete bizangos can had for that.
But I'm one to tak; I overpaid big time for a hoodoo because my wife fell in love with it, mostly due to the color/decal scheme, and they rarely come up that small (13").
