Re:
Thank you for the welcomes!
I don't know how to price it to be honest, which is why I've come here. I know that if I try to sell it locally it won't be worth my effort and I don't want to give it away! I know it is a nice bike to a limited number of people. Equally, I'm not after silly money hopefully a few of you may be able to suggest a sensible price and someone may want to buy it.
Spec wise...
57cm frame (measured by me, I'm 5'11")
F & R mech: Shimano 600 (14 speed)
Pedals: Shimano 600
Headset: Shimano 600
Crankset: 52/42
Hubs: Shimano 105
and it has a period Avocet 30 trip meter. It rides well but the frame does have a few scuffs which mean anyone wanting to do a full restoration would have to consider this. Plus someone (not me) has damaged the end of the small tube that runs through the top tube by hitting it with a hammer or similar which has caused the end to flair out a little... this is a shame but not to difficult to tidy up. I believe the first owner used it in the Paris–Roubaix, I have no way to prove this but it's a nice story! Feel free to ask any questions.
Cheers,
Andy.
