Vitus 979 - replacing internally routed rear brake cable

Thanks! I'm not sure what stepped ends means in this context, can you tell me a bit more?
Those cable entry tubes are about 0.75” long and have a step at the end of them so the cable can’t be pushed in any further.

Kalloy UNO seatpost comes in 25mm if you want a more budget option than Campag 👍

Doesn't the post with the grubscrew setting have a flat b strip on the back?
A common problem with these is when you replace the saddle, the rail to top difference, or indeed the give in the saddle base, causes you to want to move the saddle 2mm, but the grubscrew just finds its way back into the depression made previously

Ah, got it, thank you - I didn't realize the tube didn't go all the way through the frame.

Thank you! That would be perfect, but unfortunately I'm in the US...these days it might be more hassle than it's worth to try to get that seatpost over here.

About £15 to post to usa.
No probs if you need it.

You might find because it's French the only 25.0 posts came in to the country were already fitted into bikes.
Tarrifs iirc😉
Canada might be different?
