I've not long been a member on the forum, found you last week when looking for bits for my old clockwork. Anyway in a post I happened to mention that I would be interested in a Vit T2 and the very next day I received a PM from someone called fattiman

I PM'd him back thanking him for the heads up and saying that I didn't think it was worth that. He then replied saying..
"I think this one is NOS though! have a look on the thread for the one that sold for £750, it was a nail by all acounts. The frame alone retailed back in the day for £1500. So i would say £600 for a rare as fek NOS Sandvik Titanium Orange is a bargain. Looka at what "common" Kona Hei Hei's go for!! £500-£600 for a well used example!"
As soon as I'd read that message I sussed that the guy selling the frame on Gumtree and "fattiman" were one and the same. especially after then looking at his posts on the forum and finding him bigging up the sale in another thread.
I'd arranged to go and see it today and when the guy called me to give me his address I asked him,
"Are you the guy who contacted me on Retrobike?"
"There was a pause................... and he said "Ahem No...... No i've never heard of it what is it?"
If you read back on this guys posts its clear they're the same person
This made me very suspicious,
1. Why would he lie?
2. Why wouldn't he try to sell the frame on here? I mean if there's one place where you could guarantee to sell a Vit T it would be retrobike.
Does someone on here know that its not NOS? ('m really not fussed about that TBH)
Is it stolen? (I'm going to make 100% sure it isn't before I make this guy an offer)
