Hi fellas,

Thought I would post a couple of pics up of the Serotta T-Max I recently purchased.. and went out on last Sunday , but been busy with work this week so this is the first time I have had chance , apologies for the poor pics as these were taken after the ride with me phone camera :cry: See what you think ..

Its fast as F**K and climbs like billy. bit scary on some of the steeep descents due to low front end, dont know if I would get away with a 100mm fork on her ? running gear is full M900 XTR, with mavic rings and crossmax ceramic wheels and a fluttering of Ti , Control tech and dean

Shesa nIce yes!! mmm , the skinny 1.5s though have had to come off though, on go a nice set of Michelins 2.2s in grey , looks very stealth.. almost xwing ish...

nice I bet it is light too. good mix of kit too. Not sure about the forks

Yea ! weight wise I reckon around the 22lb mark with skinnys on, The forks are 63mm Travel I think Judy XCs , would like a set of rigid switchblades or original serotta fork when I can source them.. but would like to sort the suspension side first, was thinking maybe a Rock shox Sid 80mm ? not sure if it would upset the handling too much or improve the slightly nervous descending characteristics ! :?

There is a Serotta Max fork on eBay.de now! The matching frame is sold too, so that can become quite a battle I think.

Personally I do not think a 80mm travel fork would hurt the handling in a bad way. The bike is quite steep from itself. Doubt whether I would appreciate the looks, but you already explained us this one is for riding.

Where did the white bolts go?

Hi Melvin,

The white bolts are still on there fella, but have moved ! I want some more of them at some point,, when I can find them.. Went out again today on her, and had a major stack , no damage to the bike, but wrecked my shoulder and back, its just seems to put too much weight forward on descents or undulating ground, so either I look at puttin a 80-100mm fork on it or it might have to go.. really dont know if the 80-100mm fork will upset the handling or improve the downhill abilities... so any advice would be appreciated..

Virgin rides can be such a worry.

Took my new Trimble out off rode for the first time this weekend. And all was great. The 'Groovy' forks were sweet.
