Vintage Marin model identification

Hello Gents,

I just picked up this vintage Marin from the original owner. He said he bought it new around 1987, and that all the parts are original. It looks like there used to be a sticker on the top tube that was taken off, and I was just wondering if anyone from that era knows what model it might be.

I've just found this exact bike, unfortunately it was in the thread you started on MTBR!

Maybe not a Marin? The frame looks very similar to a 1987 Fisher Hoo Koo e Koo or Montare, though the forks have an extra set of eyelets.

The frame number should tell everything. As it's Prestige, I imagine a Team.
There is a big Marin frame number thread on this site allowing you to decode model from the number.
