Hello everyone,

I've owned this frame for a few years now, no matter how much I've tried to stretch my legs I can't make this fit so I'm going to have to find it a new home :(

The frame number is 8109 and it was sold to me as 17.5" frame, stats are as follows:-

Centre head tube to centre seat tube - 22.5"
Centre bottom bracket to top of seat tube - 18.5"
Centre bottom bracket to middle of top tube - 18.5"

It's a custom Reynolds 731 frame with Ritchey dropouts and no rack mounts/eyelets, the paint is original and a nice pearlescent white to blue fade, there are a few chips, a scuff on the seat tube and a tiny bit of chainsuck but it's in a super condition for it's age.

It needs a 1" steerer fork and 27.0mm seatpost, here are a few pictures, the bottom bracket will not be included in the sale and will be removed (I can take pictures of the BB shell if required :)

I'm looking for GBP 295.00 posted to the U.K., that seems like a lot but it really is a beautiful hand built British frame that doesn't need any work, just add bits....

Very nice frame and if it was a size larger i'd be all over it!
Have a hard time grasping the lame reception British made frames have in this forum!

Hi

This ia a very lovely frame a classic piece of British steel :D

I would bet my smelly socks that if this had got a inch and an eigth headtube it would have flown by now

Who ever get this frame can have the cro-moly fork in my for sale link below in exchange for postage (from Sweden)! :P

Thanks for all the positive comments guys :)

It really is a lovely frame, tempted to build up a Bridgestone XO-1 homage with moustache handlebars and shiny silver Paul bits but if I can find a home where she'll get muddy that would be preferable....

Cheers

What are the marks in the white area of the frame in the seventh picture. Looks like a crack as well as a scuff.

I dont think its a lack of love, on my part its a lack of cash money. were this not the case i'd be handing over my ready's. Lovely frame

Yeah it sure is lovely, but I've got my hands full trying to hunt down a set of suitable 1" forks as it is, so looking for two sets is just a bit much for me.

She's a stunner, tho, make no mistake... 8) 8)
