Hi, im currently looking for a vintage blackburn mtn rack(in white) for my retro build bike which is running on 700c tyres. Kindly share with me any avenues if you know where I can get hold of it. Cheers!
Oh these were lovely. Blackburn made great racks at that time. BIG welds and decent size alloy. I only have one left, and thats’ a front rack on my daughter’s bike. Sorry about posting when I don’t have what you want, but I just felt I had to say ‘Good Choice’!

It depends where your lugs are - that sounds like a personal question but of course I am referring to the holes in your dropouts. If I recall, the stays on the mountain rack were quite long, and often tilted the rack up a bit at the back. That suggests that you could get it onto a 700c frame as long as the lugs are mounted in a reasonably high position on the dropout. And that guy on eBay has kindly provided a photo with a tape measure giving the clearance - which is 13 inches. So you can measure up and know for sure. Hurrah.
