Having just bought a pair of early (2004) fox float 80 rl's, i'd like the usual views.it was only a day or two later that a set of (albeit disc only) pnes appear for sale on rb.
Intend to stick them on the zaskar btw.

In my opinion fox forks are about as good as it gets. I'm currently going through a linkage fork phase, and whilst much cooler looking and just downright more interesting, fox forks just work and work well. I've got some 2004 80 rlt's and rlc's, some 2006 talas rlc's and some 2007 f80x's and as long as you don't let Evans cycles service them, you won't go far wrong. My only gripe is that the paint seems to be made of a material that does not like sticking to fox forks.

Tip top! the best i've used, consistant and plush. I've got some terralogic ones at the mo which need a service but once they have been they are very very good! lock out... bounce, stiff and light. Job done

I've got 04 Talas very nice they are indeed, if you're planning on running discs check the limits because I don't think that they were recommended for the larger sizes.
