VERY unusual Klein Attitude - maybe an ex-racer

Re:

I pinged an old Klein employee and he had this to say,

"The storm bike that you linked looks interesting. The hole in the rear dropout indicates that it was an employees bike. More specifically, that it is a blem frame. Anytime an employee bought a blem frame it was drilled that way. Blems were only sold if they were functionally sound.
The color could be a very early attempt at the storm scheme. Maybe one of the first? Employee bikes were often painter experiments. "

This bike is rather similar to the nuclear storm Attitude that popped up last year. Both were employee bikes and most likely painted after the storm scheme was originally devised as fun side projects and that sort of thing. There were many other examples of employee bikes getting one-off paintjobs.
