And that’S the label you would have got. Either tanwall or blackwall. How do I know? I had a lot of them. Round about 1992-93.

That tyre is the last incarnation of the round-knob porcupine (there is a new square block one of course) and later than the box....

So it is. I had a quick search earlier for a timeline on onza tyres but just can’t track it down. When I sold a Porc II to Regan EV a couple of years ago (in that pattern box and with the purple logo, not this ‘large logo) he mentioned these ‘large logo’ tyres floating about and wanted to make sure that the one I had was not one of them, since they were a lot later and not a match for the box.
