All marins only had the option of manitou forks, not marzocchis. Marin was bought into the uk by atb sales who were also the importers for manitou. Marin had a licensing agreement with manitou for many years, resulting in the frs frames amongst others.

EFCs were not an option on marin xc bikes, EFCs were the 'downhill' option.
This one would have come with a set of spinner rigids or Manitou 2/3 and I would have thought they'd be ahead on this age. I spent far too long selling these bikes....
Hmmm, you're right, but not completely; they also had the option of Rock Shox, but it appears they weren't spec'd with the Marzocchi. The person I bought mine from must have had his shop swap his out when he bought it new. That happened as well.

These Marin Ti are not any more valuable than a DBR Ti, or later Kona Ti, or the Bontrager Ti (the bonty being worth more), and a few others, all made by Ti Sports/Sandvik.
I've yet to see one sell in the states for more than $750usd (under 500 pound) with better parts than the one that sold here.
