Oddly and from experience, it is the male that perpetuates the division between the genders, what I personally view as people desperately hanging on to the last vestiges of a dying attitude of superiority just because history has put men before women.

The women I know can do everything a man can do including.... yes, but of the men I now, not many can do what women can do, including the natural ability to care about others, something men have to work at, if they care.

you know it really gets my goat when people say in my experience as opposed to in my opinion, unless your experience is as a deity of course.

As for this superiority nonsense , in my experience based on living in a world where a large proportion of the population are men, I am yet to meet one who has actually said or truly believes that they are superior to women.

I also find it quite sad that so called intelligent and enlightened men continue to subscribe to the outdated conspiracy theory that is feminism, one they most probably adopted to help get some action I must add, without giving any thought or reflection to what it actually is saying. In my experience it is men who spout this sort of nonsense who are actually closet misogynists.

As for men lacking the natural ability to care , I find this equally offensive and absolute nonsense to boot.

I've met some - worked with and for at times. I suppose in recent times, such overt opinions or implications are probably much more implied or subtle - but I've certainly encountered it in my working life. I wouldn't say it's prevalent, mind. I've also known women who in current times have said they've encountered it from some, too.

Personally, I'm not necessarily subscribing to feminism - and in fairness, the women I know that have mentioned this are hardly raging or simpering feminists, either.

Whilst it's probably not prevalent in modern office environments, where there's typically a more mixed proportion of the sexes, in other types of working environments, things are not so progressive / modern / liberal.

It does exist, political correctness may have driven it to the un-said, understated, passive-aggressive thing in some men - it's still out there, it's just far from lauded in modern, equitable, balanced working environments.

Well, not wishing to engender anything, men do seem to use the word 'bitch' a lot which would assume that the jack/ tyre/ van is very possibly feminine. But, these days most prophanity is used with little thought to its origins as in in ' yo! Shizzle! That cup of tea was bitchin' bruv!' Bitchin and bruv reffering to both genders yet neither identify the cup of tea directly as male or female. Its just a cup of tea.
