Vaude Butterfly Comfort

Has anyone used the Vaude Butterfly Comfort ?

I'm looking at buying one to carry my youngest around and would like any more info.
It seems the best for our needs as it has good support for the child and he had PVL (causing Cerebral Palsy) and has trunk and leg problems because of it.

Yep I have one and both my littlies have/are using it. The body support is well padded and the neck brace is ok but doesnt really fit arround the neck and the babies have tended to lean their heads forward when they go to sleep, so the brace isnt actually doing anything. I do wonder if a separate neck brace my be a better solution if your little one has any neck issues.

Leg support is ok but their legs will tend to just dangle rather than use the stirrups although the base where they sit is prett wide.

I recon the best bet would be to go to a store with as many different brands in as possible, try them out and ask questions.

BTW I dont think they are as expensive as Macpac ones but these dont actually seam to offer the same sort of support.

He's 2 now (just) and finding a store around here that has any let alone a selection is well... It's easier to find a LBS put it that way.

His head should be ok, it's more the side falling that may be a problem but I guess only if tired, BUT since that has improved a lot I don't think it will be a problem.

Do they have any anti back kicking and hair pulling devices ?
