VARIO Techno - What the fork is this!?

Vario are a french bike, I had one back in the day for racing downhill

When downhill bikes were motocross bikes without engines

Nah they dont.... They can stop now .... They weighed 40+lbs with maguras all for the mighty 4" of travel !!

I meant vario .

Most of those first Vario broke , but they were very cheap , and had a very good co factory program , hence they were very popular .

as for old DH bikes , give Vouilloz his old Sunn Radical , a few weeks of training , and I am sure he wont be far off the top again . :D

hence they were very popular

Do you think thet were? I never saw another like mine ( No limit) on the scene at the time and have never seen one advertised since  I remember the spec of mine and would love to find it again if it still exists??

It felt invincible after swapping from a proflex beast to do downhill :D

Dutch Pro rider Bas de Bever used to ride re-badged Vario DH machines at World Cup level BITD. He was sponsored by B1 bikes, lately of the CRC-B1 racing team fame.
