Unwanted and unloved

What if someone's family cut a bicycle shape out of aluminium and tossed it to the bottom, knowing that their unsuspecting Retrobike subscribing family member would peer down, feel that tingling sensation, jump in, only to be met by a phony bicycle and a whole array of family members ready to start the intervention upon returning to the shore?
Are we sure it is not one that was floated toward you and lost it's direction? Anyway looks like aluminium with non replaceable hanger, and STX RC V brakes with the little pointy bit at the bottom, might be an old Orange. Also the front wheel does look buggered.

Have you fished it out yet?!

We are all dying to know what it is!!!

Where is it?

Might just do a 500mile round trip to recover it!!🤣🤣🤣

If you could let us know the brand, serial and overall condition of frame that'd be grand

Wouldn't surprise me if parcelmonkey decided to chuck my next purchase into the sea with a couple of stones attached

I just wanted to say I'm happy this thread is about a bicycle because when I first saw the title, I figured it was about me. I am not ready to be a celebrity.

Still lying in the sea, just outside the national aquarium in Plymouth. No idea what it is? Closest I got to identification was……. Alloy frame, 26” alloy rims, no removable rear derailleur hanger, V brakes, sus forks and what looks like a Shimano exage? Rear derailleur.

Report it to the police, as probably stolen they will go fish it out.
As if

Here in Denmark I reported a bunch of teens illegally driving in the middle of the road on mopeds, and that it seemed that it was in relation to a huge party, one guy seemed to have fallen and smashed his face but became agitated when I asked him if he was okay, this was on a normally quiet country road with families living in the area. They laughed at me and told me it wasn't illegal to party.
