Well I had the frame stripped, unfortunatelyu it left a brown staining all over the frame (acid dipped then bead blasted with glass bead).
I've managed to use a very fine auto grade wet and dry which has got most of it off, then soaked it in the bath (hope the wife doesn't see this) then washed it off in the shower.
It still has a few brown marks but I wanted to get it built to see how it rides, and so far the spin round the block suggests it could be the best handling mtb i've had, very springy and VERY fast! Hopefully this means when the Vit T2 is finally built I will enjoy it as much.
