I bought this bike just because I was curious what frame it is.
I kind of hoped it was a Rocky but when I arrived I saw it isn't.
The pics were pretty vague, the frame was painted and the owner doesn't know what it is, so hope you guys can help.
I see no serial number on the BB and no brand on the dropouts, headset is 11/8".

Re:

Does look nice, do you have a side shot so we can see how it stands, may give someone a better idea with the geometry?

Re:

Single tube wishbone stays is not Rocky style. They used two tubes for the stay part.

That's more the style of the Bolx etc. Who else used that style?

Any serial numbers?

Re:

It looks like a 'hand built' by a small frame builder jobbie. It has nice details on the frame build - which would suggest a half decent frame.

No replies, I guess it is a no name frame with some nice details then?

If thats the original spec mind people dont dress dross with expensive bits. So likely to be of reasonable quality and well worth owning.
Build it up with some bits and go for a spin :)

Rocky did use a wishbone structure, the pics were vague so looked a little like this:
$_1.JPG

No serial numbers as far as I can see, but it has quite a thick layer of powder coat on it.

It sure is not original spec, the previous owner put a mix of old and newer on it. Spinergy wheels, SID WC forks, Maguras. The only thing that might be original are the M730 cranks.
