Univega Conquest

Dirt Disciple
Hi, I've just been given this bike and although I have always wanted a Univega, I don't actually know much about them. Can anyone tell me anything about this specific bike please? It's got a mix of parts, Sugino VP chainset, Dia-Compe brakes and levers, Suntour SS rear mech, Suntour 3000 (I think) shifters, a Suntour front mech and Joytech hubs on Araya 7000 rims. 12 speed, Cr-mo frame & forks.

Thanks 🙂

Thanks for that, very interesting photos 🤣
indeed, very nice "life style" pics 😃

1983 catalog here at RBUK is only about MTBs
http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2...vega/Catalogues/1983+Univega+Catalog.pdf.html
I've uploaded also 1990 and other 90ties Univega catalogs in a Thread in a german forum, but at this time Univega was focusing only at MTBs any longer.

At this page there is a good list of old catalogs also with 1984 with RR and 1989 incl. RR and MTBs

Still, haven't found your bike, it seems to me End 80this, maybe between 1986 and 1989?
