Uneven Rim Braking surface?

Is it just a couple of spots, or many?

It is many spots causing juddering when braking.

OK, i've seen that before on a light aluminium rim when someone wound on FAR too much spoke tension during the build. Could this have happened? (The rim was a write off, bit of a pain at 70 plus quid each.)

If it had been one or two spots you can fairly easily knock them out with a block of wood and a mallet.

I think the wheel is as it came from the factory it has seen very few miles from new,I've no idea as to the cause of the uneven rim.
