Ultegra 6600 Freehub inter-changability.

Anyone have any knowledge on scope for replacements?

Are they widely interchangable as with MTB Shimano freehubs?

As far as I can tell, you'll need to stick with the specific 10 speed freehub body for the 6600 hub.
The part number is Y3C998050 and they come in at around £40 to replace.

A quick search shows that Petra cycles and Wiggle amongst others have them in stock.

EDIT: Looks like the 105 freehub would also work too.

It's a few quid cheaper but the bearing race won't be quite as nice when compared to the Ultegra version.

Thanks for that Drystone'.

I'd actually rather go more mid-range for durability with a freehub. The hubs themselves are wonderfully smooth things.
