Yeh Sorry, it has been said many times i am "a mind of USELESS information".....

But better out than in.

Hmmm I think some/most of those would have to be justified! Kevin Winter for instance? Not doubt a fine welder but why should he be inducted?

+2 for Apps.

While what we ride today isn't a linear development of his ideas, simple fact is he'd solved most of the problems before and independently of many others. Bad luck and happenstance rather than a lack of ideas and engineering talent is all that stopped him becoming the British Gary Fisher.

Halfords should also get a mention, if only for a laugh.

For stepping in and helping out, when JmC was desparate for a Quality Frameset, All toll i am told he built about 6 or 7 Columbus GENIUS framesets for him, funded by Mrs Hardisty.

This is without all the work behind the scenes for others of course.

And being one of the few framebuilders here in the Uk to be certified by Reynolds as a master craftsman for the use of 753.

The Uk is full of Unsung Heros, Surely thats why we Need a UK mountain bike hall of fame, as i have suggested since joining retrobike.

Im sorry i didnt realise i was having to Justify my thoughts, i thought you were merely asking for suggestions.

MY MISTAKE.

Sinnerman:
Brands...Overburys
You'll need to put Andy Powell on the list then...

+1 for Geoff Apps...he's got the closest to getting into the US Hof, thanks to Graham's efforts to get him shortlisted every year. Anyone else UK made it?

All the best,
