Given the damp sludgy weather, what tyres are you using for tracks/ gravelly bits and all round mud strewn guggyness?

I have some narrow Schwalbe CX Comp that are ok but am looking for suggestions as these are wearing out

32c is about as wide as I can go.

Cheers

Schwalbe Marathon Greenguard - tough as old boots but still surprisingly fast.
My favourite winter tyre is the Michelin Pro4 Endurance, but as it's totally slick it might not be good enough if it's proper mud.

Panaracer Paselas.

Michelin CX Mud 700x30c (actually come up a bit wider though).

Don't forget you need to leave sufficient "Claggage". ie room for the "clag" betwixt tyre and fork/frame, lest by springtime you find the winter erosion has become terminal.

Thanks all!

The Michelin look a bit too gnarly but the Panaracer look a more viable tyre for the conditions around here.

Of course, another pair of Schwalbe CX might also do the trick

Won't those panaracers get mucky with such a light sidewall?

They do. But that's not a bad thing, IMHO, on a vintage bike.

Example: Eroica Limburg 2017 was a very wet and muddy affair:

Three months later in Gaiole the same tyres looked more convincing than new ones:

Re:

Have a pair of Paneracer tour guard tyres coming any day. Replacing a pair of 20 year old Paneracer cross towns that came on a Dawes I purchased a few months back .
Most of the components have been transfered onto a new Spa frame set .

I find Paneracer a time proven , quality tyre .Plus they are still made in Japan and not out sourced afaik .
