You might be interested in looking at my TVT 92 which has only done 250 miles from new. (Because I had a bad accident shortly after buying it [on another bike] and had to give up riding) It's currently for sale on Ebay as I finally persuaded myself to part with it. It's a lovely bike to ride, and a real piece of history as it helped Lemond take 58 seconds out of Fignon to win the 1989 TDF final stage time trial. Magic.

Lemond Didn't ride a TVT in the final Time trial of the 1989 TDF! He rode a low profile Bottecchia :)

Great price that John in my opinion. I would have taken it off your hands if it was a bit smaller.

Good luck with the sale

... first of all Lemond rode a yellow-black Bottecchia labeled TVT92 within his sucsess against Fignon esp. on mountain stages. Former he rode a silver TVT LOOK labeled during his time with LaVieClaire and later the famous funny couloured Z-Team Frame set.

A white carbone never ridden by him such a frame set has been used by different riders for example
Charly Mottet with RMO with Gitane Label some Concorde riders like Steven Rooks or Big Mig with Banesto Label but Big Mig especially rode a Carbone HM.

I am interesting in the frame set eventually to extend my plastic probike replica collection - Are you prepared to split the complete bike

..sorry but this Combo with Campa rims, Starfish crank and Dura Ace Looks terrible.

Re:

I chose the components that I liked best. Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder :)
I'm not keen on splitting it at the present time, I'd like to keep it simple if I can, but thanks for asking.

The frame is stamped 131190033 followed by, on the line below, TVT55B. I believe the first numbers mean the frame was made on 13 Nov 1990 and it was the 33rd frame of the day. You would think that 55 refers to the frame size, but centre bottom broacket to top of seat lug measues 57cm. Or aprox 56 if you allow that the lug is raised above the top tube. Maybe the French measure differently?
