TV to PC Connector (RS-232C?)

Quick chat with my friends in the IT dept at work and I now have the connector. I'm like a kid at Christmas waiting to get home and try it out. Simple things!

My Toshiba 50HP86 has a VGA input (#8 on the input selector pictured). Getting the graphics card to play nice with the TV was a bit of a pain.

The DVI or HDMI would be fine to hook up to if you have DVI out.
HDMI would be the better as it may (I say may as not all computer can do it) put sound down it as well.
Otherwise just hook the DVI up to DVI

assuming your computer has that output ;)

else if you only have VGA that lead would do it as the TV should see the analogue VGA through the line with the 4 pins around it as that's what it's there for in the specification.

Only adding for info as I know you've already sorted it.
