trying to identify a music track

Back in the dim and distant, ITV used a very disco sounding classical piece to advertise TV programmes such as the original Star Wars TV premières

I can hum it perfectly but for the life of me cant remember who adapted the original classical score

Just heard a burst of the track on a Radio 4 programme about Robinson Crusoe: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00xhz8j

Frustratingly its not on iPlayer so cant skip through to find the name, bugger.

So, early 80's/ late 70's disco style classical piece of music used a lot on ITV in the 80's...

backing is big violin sound with I think, an oboe as the main sound, very possibly Mozart


Any ideas?
