TRON Legacy

I don't know the original TRON was in my view excellent and very digital, but this new one seems more realistic, but not digital, almost analogue in it's presentation. for example the light cycles, the original TRON the cycles turned digitally, ninety degree turns, this new one is not like that. Furthermore the original depicted a landscape inside a computer a game or what not, this new release, well, there's mist and what appears to be wet, so to me it has lost the original TRON feel.

But the new movie has a dark gothic feel that I like, so it is to be seen at some point, but i view it as a new movie, not anything as a sequel to the original, for the new movie has lost it in that respect.

But a desire for TRON made me get the old PS2 game REZ which I am still battling through, and I have the optional trance vibrator peripheral, but do not use it in some the ways I have heard it used.

Thats because you wisnae a yoof at the time like the rest of us.

It was great as far as I was concerned.

Enid probably didn't like it when he attempted to avoid a wall with a 90 degree turn which didn't work so he took against it

The first film was a brilliant concept but flawed in its execution which was a shame - still a good bit of popcorn entertainment and the birth of computer generated special effects (although Star Trek, The motion(less)Picture takes that accolade).

As for the light cycles, its a bit like comparing Pong and Xenon II....
