Trimble on Craiglist with Campy

i am curious as to what he "altered"

"I had the groupo specifically altered to fit this fat X frame by a metallurgist"

it's all pretty standard sizes as far as i know.

but yeah, hell of a state considering the price, you'd have thought he would have cleaned and polished it for that money

Complete with possibly the heaviest saddle and seat post combination in mountain biking history, comfy and fully adjustable though.

If anyone's interested in campagnolo MTB stuff I've got a couple of items for sale (Bullit grip shifters NIB, brake levers) in my 'unfinished project for sale' thread as well as a load of other bits and pieces. or PM me.

Probably more rare than the bike is the Roo bar/stem.
Great project but not for that much money.

not sure which is the most shocking, the $5000 price tag,or tintin posting it in the wrong section after nearly 20,000 post,s :D

Was not looking properly. Meant to be working  But it is for sale

If that sells i think i'll contact the buyer. For that sort of money i'll sell my rare 18'' bike with one off custom paint job.
