This started with the purchase of the Roo bar/stem over ten years ago. I kept an eye out for a frame for ages and finally found one in my size a couple of years back. The fork I bought through Global Fridge who were having a UK frame builder putting them together for Bontragers. The hubs and front cantis are black XT with the usual XT for the rest of the build. I painted the U brake myself, when it was black it just looked wrong. Seat post is American Classic in silver. I found the funky Turbo saddle in Europe and thought it had a perfect Trimble tiger effect going on. Don't know the history of the frame or saddle if anyone can fill that in. Overall the whole bike has that "original patina" look so your not afraid of going for a ride.

 nice, i like the black white contrast, the back brake looks great. I would be tempted to put a black seatpost, or maybe a white one, in. Would also be tempted to paint the rear dropouts for a complete b/w bike

the saddle is a bio turbo from the 80's. Dont think they made repo of them, and not sure what differnce between them and normal turbo's are.

Re:

I had a black post in and it really did not work. So looked for a long time just as you suggested for a white one or one that I could apply some white paint to....ended up with silver.

Welcome to Trimble club. Love the fork. The chunky crank suit the frame as well. Whats the frame number? The first composite frame. And still the best

Re:

To reiterate what mkone said, the saddle is a Turbo Bio. I had one bitd and loved it. They are quite rare and hard to find, so if you ever decide to get rid then do let me know!
