Trek Y33

After my alu elite build and Bravado refresh, I've just had this eBay purchase delivered.
Full XTR, White industries hubs, Judy SL, titanium Seat Post and original Easton bars, it was originally intended as a breaker - I only wanted the mechs, pods and crank - now it's bypassed all my other projects and is going to be a complete resto...

I nearly went for this!
So glad I did! As soon as the van pulled up outside today I was up, got it out the box asap, put it together and just sat looking at it for a full 10 minutes. Shame I've got to steal the forks off my Bravado for it but they're wrong for that anyway so there will ultimately be a happy ending.
I didn't research the bikes at all, just spotted all the XTR and went for it. I do just about remember them in some donated mbuk mags though, never liked them but how opinions can change.
I keep tapping my knuckles on the frame just to hear it's unique sound.

Nope. I never said cheap. I do like a bargain and should I strip it I'll make a tidy profit but once I'd pressed the button I started to get excited. When it arrived my mind was changed.

Re:

I would really appreciate it if anybody could point me in the direction of the trek catalogue from this year, or at least help me find what the original rims and seat were. All my searching just brings up wrong years with XT groupsets.

Thank you.
