trek y11....nice if you like those sort of things....

I love it when they put, usually in big letters "this is a no reserve auction" but then have a starting price of £500.

Surely the reserve is £500? All they're doing is limiting the bidding. No-body is going to bid over £500 initially, but take the start price away and the price may go over £500 if a bidding war gets going.

bidding war on a trek y 11 ?!

Have you ever ridden one of those things?!

I never got a chance to ride one but always assumed they must have been good - all the reviews BITD raved about them!!!

Having said that, the idea of URT's always seemed a bit illogical to me. I wanted my suspension working the most for rocky downhills, when I'm mostly standing out of the saddle...

'Nuff said Jez!!

And that other one has deffinatly been hit with the ugly stick!!

I rode one for a while as a shop sponsor bike thinking they were supposed to be good after all the reviews.
It was a steep learning curve....trying to sit down on downhills was odd....
The carbon looked lovely up close but was an awful ride:(

the best one of these I have seen was on the wall in a shop.
It had been cut in half along the length and stuck on a stand
