Wanted Trek Fuel Magnesium EVO link

G60Dub

Dirt Disciple
As the title really. Need a non DRCV trunion mount Trek Fuel magnesium EVO link circa 2008-2012 or thereabouts. Same type as shown in the attached image. Not overly fussed about colour as these came in more colours than you could shake a dirty stick at. Had to buy a frame in the meantime for a spare so at least I'm still on two wheels. 👍

I've got one, attached to a frame that cracked at the disc tab. Front triangle and shock, linkages etc in good shape though. Interested in taking the lot for £50 plus post?

Sure

Thanks Ishaw. Is it a small frame as can't quite 100% read it but looks like the rebound tune is light? Not sure if that style link is the same overall dimensions and clearances. In short are you sure this will swap out with the other casting style?

I'm no expert I'm afraid, but happy to take measurements/better pics or whatever to help you work out if it will fit your frame.

Just measured the frame (EX8 ), it s 17.5cm centre if bb to top of seat tube, and 23cm along the top tube c2c (measured straight).

Linkage measurements using pic above as a guide are:

170mm measured c2c along the longest length
90mm left bolt to bottom bolt c2c
105mm bottom bolt to right bolt c2c
shock mount spacing is about 38mm measured between the inner points of the linkage
rear stay mount spacing is about 65mm measured between the inner points of the linkage

Shock decals indicate the compression tune (blue decal) is mid (middle of the 3 indicators), rebound tune (red) is light (shortest/lowest of the 3 indicators). i2i is 190mm.

Afternoon Ishaw

I had a quick measure up and things seem provisionally good based on the measurements you supplied. As I already have a complete spare frame (minus Rocker) I'm not keen to start hoarding spare^2 parts LOL. Off the back of that could you do the rocker link, shock and all mounting fasteners/hardware/ABP stuff for £55 delivered?

Sure, you can have as much or as little from the frame. I was hoping to find a rear end to replace the broken one with but I now have far too many projects so happy to let it go. I'll need a bit of time to pull it apart (properly, not caveman style), it should all go in a relatively small box too.
