I have just picked up a red Trek 930 and I am having trouble putting a year to it. so if anyone can help please.
I have a Trek 8000 in the same colour red and that is 1990. but the 1990 Catalogue didn't show a red 930
It does look early 1990s (1991?). Best bet is checking the dates codes on the cranks, derailleurs and brakes to give a likely year, ie latest date you find, assuming parts are original. Looks like they are. This link is very helpful for date checking: http://www.vintage-trek.com/component_dates.htm
I just had a look at the catalogues in the archive. The 1992 doesn't seem to have the 930 page but the specs looks similar to your pictures. I really like that era of Trek 9 series bikes.
