Trek 930 resto mod

Nice job on the Trek, it looks so clean with the discs and single ring etc, I have an earlier 950, don't apologise for the discs they are so much better I used to have to replace the wheels every spring,I can still hear that horrible grinding noise! discs have their own niggles but still loads better.I'm tempted to do something similar but I doubt i would ever ride it offroad again, modern blkes are so good nowadays. I have no idea how we rode them back in the day.a bit of gravel is all it sees these days Good skills by the way!

Thank you, I’m also a big fan of disc brakes, for me I invest time in setting them up right from the get go, no rubbing etc. from then on it’s very much fit and forget. Personally I like the geometry of an older bike, it makes trails more fun and I like having the bike underneath me as opposed to being ‘in’ the bike. For trials biking at least this works very well.
