Dirt Disciple
Singlified Trek 4300 anno 2003, 19.5". Bought it for 45 pounds, gave it a cleanup and decided to use the SS-kit from my retired Alpinestars 
Replaced the fork with an ok'ish Manitou Magnum and fitted a Deore crankset with a 36t ring. 18t at the back. Stock wheels replaced with Mavic rims with DT Swiss Onyx hubs and a pair of Conti Race King 2.0.
Light (by my standards), fun and an overall comfortable ride.
